1) What are interrogative adjectives?


Interrogative adjectives are 'What', 'Which' and 'Whose'. They modify nouns by asking questions.
Example:
What colour do you like? (Question)
I like yellow. (Answer)

2) Use

❖ We use interrogative adjectives to ask questions. They are usually the first word of a sentence.

- What: to ask about things or ideas.
Examples:
What instrument do you play?
I play the violin.
What languages did she speak?
She spoke English and French.

- Which: to ask for a choice between a few things.
Example:
Which colour do you like, orange or yellow?
I like orange.

- Whose: to ask about possessions or relationships.
Examples:
Whose pen is this?
This pen is Paul’s.
Whose party are we going to?
We are going to John’s party.
